Granite Worktops Glasgow
Granite is an Igneous rock which is formed when magma ( molten rock ) cools and solidifies.
The colours and structures of Granite differ depending on the types of molten rock and the way the crystals form when cooled.
Granite is used for mainly for work surfaces due to its durability and the magnificent colours which appear when it is polished.
Granite is made up predominantly of minerals such as feldspar, mica and quartz.
We also use Granite for the external cladding of buildings, this is the preference due to its ability to withstand all that nature can throw at it, even in its polished state.
